What is the difference between wrought iron and ornamental steel or aluminum?
True wrought iron is hand-forged and expensive. Modern ornamental fencing is welded steel or aluminum with a wrought-iron look, stronger than the old stuff against rust, at a fraction of the price.
Can iron fencing be installed on a slope?
Yes. Panels rack to follow the grade, or we stair-step them for a formal look. Sloped lakefront and terraced properties are some of our favourite projects.
